    Default [HowTo] Get that Retro Apple boot logo that you want sooo badly

    it seems a lot of people like it, so i set up a page on my wiki for those who would like to use it instead of the pineapple.

    would you mind tell us what format these img2 files are? also don't mean to be a bother but wondering if ipswtool is on track for a today release?

    how do you drop it into the ipsw? I'm dragging the file ontop of the ipsw in finder but its not dropping

    I just added a .zip on the end, and then dropped the file in

    (and afterwards remove the .zip extension of course!)

    This is what you do.

    iPSWTool is ready, program wise, but we have not done much for the GUI since this has been done via command-line for testing purposes. Once we get a nice, easy to use GUI fixed up we will be able to get you something tomorrow.

    Mac initially, but after we get that stabilized we will work on porting it and hopefully get it out soon after the Mac release
