Default how to downgrade from pwnage tool j/broken 4.3.3 to earlier ios j/b ?

    Hello,

I have a jailbroken 3gs 4.3.3 (pwnage tool), carrier unlocked.

The jailbreak worked, the unlock via redsn0w worked as well.

Unfortunately i do not have push notifications anymore and tried EVERY single fix available out there and my push notifications are still messed up (working/not working/working/etc).

    I was previously on 3.3...

How could i just downgrade from this jbroken 4.3.3 to any jbroken earlier iso that will bring me back my push notifications ?

    thank you

Rather than say "every single fix" - can you specify the exact fixes you have tried?
The gold standard (with support) is still the pushfix.info service (which costs $$)
Most people have success with SAM or pushdoctor. (both of these are free)

Hello Olethros and thank you for your answer,

I tried with Sam and push doctor. I've been helped by many people but it was impossible to make it work. It was back when the jailbreak for 4.3.3 just came out and i just gave up after several days trying.

Can i just go back to another Ios (anything from 4.0 and above) ? I tried to use pwnagetool to go to 4.3.2 like if i was regular jailbreaking but when restoring in itunes, i got "not elligible for the requested build".

here some more infos, i don't know if it's usefull or not:

    modem firmware : 05.12.01

    new bootrom

the phone was activated with bouygtelecom carrier in France, then jailbroken to 3.3, unlocked with redsn0w and used with thai carrier in thailand for the past 10 months.

    when i open cydia i got "SHSH: Ios 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.2.1+, 4.3.3, 4.3.5"

in tinyumbrella "request shsh from cydia" and "set host to cydia on exit" are both unchecked but i don't know if it worked because i don't see any "apply changes" anywhere. tinyumbrella v5.00.08.

    Thank you

You should turn "request SHSH from Cydia" back on

Then click "save SHSH". Look at the log and see which iOS versions were successful.

Remember to ALWAYS use custom IPSW that blocks baseband update. (but you can't use custom IPSW with iOS 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 - as no one has written the correct bundles for your device/bootrom)

After you have saved your SHSH blobs locally, start TinyUmbrella's TSS server. Then you can restore custom (or if you want to lose unlock - original) IPSW for any iOS version that you managed to save a SHSH blob for.

    Thank you

ok, i did everything, tried to switch to 4.2.1 custom firmware with pwnage tool and still not working.

I j/broken again with jailbreakme. the JB worked but still no push.

    Installed push doctor, didn't work.

Tried SAM again, didn't work first place: itunes message "sim card inserted not suported"

tried the fix for that, selected "by bundle name" in "method", selected the carrier and still "sim card inserted not supported"

My iphone model is MC131FB, bought in europe with Bouyges telecom. I'm now in Thailand using thai simcard "true move" (plan sim card, not prepaid)

Have you checked your DNS? Try changing your DNS on the phone to 8.8.8.8

See if this helps (this can help if you have issues with push when your phone is on a NAT'd wifi network, it won't help if your phoen is NOT currently connected via wifi)
