One of the speakers of my phone is not working now and I have to send it in for repair. How do I completely unvirginise it so that Apple cannot detect any trace of my activities? Will just restoring the original firmware from within iTunes do the job?
Also, if I insert an already activated AT&T SIM card from another iPhone into mine, will I have to reactivate it or something? I was thinking that I would just restore using iTunes, put in a genuine, activated AT&T SIM card from another iPhone and send it in to Apple. Would I be doing something wrong?
It's kinda urgent so a quick reply would be very appreciated.
Thank you!

Just Restore, with an original firmware from Apple.

Mate only the left hand side of the phone is the speaker. The right hand side is the mic!

You have to do 2 things:
1. Before restoring with 114 original, you have to install bootneuter. Choose the option BootNeuter= Off and get it back to the original bootloader (4.6 in your case) if for any reason you downgraded to 3.9. Choose fakeblank off and choose unlock = off.
2. Restore with original 114
Btw the iphone speaker is only on 1 side, the other one is the mic like the above poster said. You can try bringing the phone to Apple and let them laugh at you.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I was hoping that nothing had happened to the speaker and it's a relief to know that only the one on the left side is the speaker.
I don't know, however, why you guys find it funny that I didn't know that the iPhone only had one speaker. It's not like that's the kind of trivia one hears on national television.
The design on both sides of the dock connector at the bottom is exactly the same. How am I supposed to know that one of them is not a speaker? I own a MacBook Pro and it has speakers on both sides of the keyboard that look exactly the same. I didn't have any reason to believe that the same wasn't the case with the iPhone.
Anyway, thanks once again for the prompt replies. It's very appreciated.
Enjoy.

It could have been worse , you could have revirginised your phone and then got laughed at in the store.
