HELP:
I was trying to update my software on my iPhone 2G from 2.2 to 3.1.2, by using iTunes restore, and the 3.1.2 software. My 2G iphone had already been jailbroken, and therefore i thought i would be able to just update the software, and then jailbreak it again using PwnageTOOL. When iTunes was restoring my iphone with the new software, it came up and said, that my iphone could not be recognized and therefore could not be activated, and that i must contact my nearest apple store. The iphone is in recovery mode now, and i cant get it out, because iTunes wont even let me restore it.

Is there any solution to fix this problem?

And will i be able to jailbreak at the end of the day, IF i get my iphone out of recovery mode?

Put it into DFU mode and restore OS 3.1.2 the jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.2
