Default Help! iPhone 2G no wi-fi

    I'm new to the scene.
My iPhone was used and its wi-fi is greyed out.
So I came upon this site: Wifi Fixer [iPhone Dev Team]

    I can't download BootNeuter.
The wi-fi is disabled on my jailbroken+unlocked iPhone.

How do I go about doing this?
Is there a way to directly get an app on my computer to my iPhone?

The best way to try and fix your problem is to downgrade to 1.1.4 and use iLiberty Plus to run the wifi fix from the devteam.

    iLiberty+ | George Zhu's BLOG

To avoid problems, be sure to do the following after downloading iLiberty:
    Q: I’m getting the error “Error on: http://iLiberty.zjlotto.com/repo.plist (10060: )”, now what?
A: It’s because I didn’t use that domain any more so the host name resolving failed for sure. To overcome, change your repo URL (in Settings menu) to this: http://iLiberty.insideiphone.com/repo.plist and it should work again.
    Look at threads like:

http://www.hackint0sh.org/f136/49382.htm and http://www.hackint0sh.org/f136/36491.htm they might help more.

There is no step by step guide for this - or if there was, it has long ago disappeared. This is an old problem.

iLiberty automates it as much as possible.

If you have trouble downgrading to iOS 1.1.4 - make sure to downgrade iTunes as well 7.6 should be old enough - download links are here iTunes - The iPhone Wiki
