If you just want to jilbreak will not loose the gps,ipad baseband update is only needed when wanting to unlock

ovidiu1305 speaks the truth. iPad baseband is ONLY needed for the unlock, you do not need it for jailbreaking.

Beyond that, the comments you posted previously relate to SHSH files and the protection Apple has added to stop people from being able to flash older versions of iOS. Read up on it at the link in my signature or google around for a layman's explanation of what it is -- it's important to understand if you're going to be jailbreaking as it really is the big thing Apple has done to stop downgrading. It can be worked around for 4.x so far, but it requires planning and foresight! Download a copy of TinyUmbrella, retrieve all SHSH you have on file, and that will help you see what options are available if you're looking for jailbreaking, downgrading, or untethering.

hey everyone who reads this the guy ovidiu1305 will tell you he can help you but then he tells you to go to a website and buy his jailbreak software so he can jailbreak the phone over the internet through my computer.....this all sounds very shady and hopefully the mods keep trash like this off the boards...i understand people make there money but if there going to spam people on the site they should be paying sponsor dues

Thanks for the heads up -- since he follows the guidelines for advertising (he doesn't advertise blatantly or in posts, nor is his signature filled with links to outside sites, etc.) and his posts don't directly advertise or link to the software on the board there's not much we can/should do. Aside from that, he's also been pretty good at posting around the forum with topical and helpful information.

I don't recommend anyone pay someone else for software to jailbreak, as the software required to do this is free -- but like anything else, we worked for a long time to learn what we know today about these technologies, and that knowledge is not worthless. I don't usually have a problem if I end up paying for someone's time because they're more skilled than I am, but your comment about him wanting you to purchase software that allowed him to remotely jailbreak the phone does irk the skeptic in me.

Our recommendation, as always -- let the buyer beware. Do your homework before paying anyone anything, and we will NEVER recommend paying someone to jailbreak your device or paying for software to jailbreak your device, as it is all freely available. What you do with your money and your time, on the other hand, is definitely your business.

In any case, unless he starts breaking forum rules by spamming or by link-baiting, etc., what he's doing is allowable (even if we don't approve of charging people for jailbreaks, if he's not directly advertising it here, he's following the rules).

Its not very nice to distort the true,i am not selling any jailbreak software, but a service, and I think you understood this from the response to your email, and i quote "yes some people dont want to loose time doing theirselves and preffer to do it fast and safe . If you have any problem,please ask on the forrum and would be happy to answer your questions.there is no problem if i give you a advice for free, but when doing online I spend 30 min to one hour of my time"
I never asked you to buy any software to connect to your pc, i use Teamviwer , that is a free tool. I havent spamed anywere on the website, havent put my website in the signature,and I think a havent posted any bad advice on this forrum.

No problem, I'm pretty familiar with TeamViewer as well -- that's nothing new or shady. As far as selling the service goes, I agree with ovidiu on this one. As mentioned in my original post, it takes a lot of time and effort for those of us who know this stuff to learn it, and as it changes nearly every day, it takes a lot of our time to keep up on the changes and ensure that we're providing correct, factual, and topical advice to those asking questions. While we will gladly do it for free (please donate to the forums!) in response to forum posts, I don't believe that anyone's time is worthless -- so I'm never averse to paying someone who knows more than I do to either do something for me or to help me understand...

In any case, since it looks like the OP's problem has been solved and we've pretty much derailed here, I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If anyone wants to contribute more to the discussion or if something changes and a new response is needed, shoot me a PM and I'll re-open.
