I have an iphone, the love of my life so to speak but still only have version 1.1.4, why ? because i wanted to wait until it was 100% safe to update to the newest hacked version.

So i ask you, what is the best, easyest way to update to the latest version?

Formatting the phone might be a good idea since im sure i have loads of crap on it but then i would need to restore the phonebook and alike.

I'm a windows user.
