Maybe it will only be an issue if there is an app (or folder under /Applications) created with the same name using both the AppStore and Installer. Of course, that could be fixed by changing the name of the app folder with Installer (or most likely at the repo level). Installer probably will place that app within the Uninstall list if it sees an app with the same /Applications folder as an Installer app. I guess that if the AppStore names the apps folder in a similar fashion in which it names webclips (with seemingly random letters and numbers), then that will not be an issue, either. I'm counting down the days to find out!!
Sorry, let me clarify. Installer apps go in /Applications/. AppStore apps do go in a /Applications/ folder, but it is something like /private/var/mobile/Library/Applications/, and are put in the same format as WebClips, like a bunch of random numbers and letters. Hope this clears it up.

Me and a few others have come up with another method that is a very practical and useful one, it has many advantages over this one. We would like to withold our method and strongly urge theshakyone to release the method that he used, because this one is much more flexible and Apple will never really be able to guess what it is either, so it can't be patched (until it is revealed of course, but even then...)

So does this mean we will get a way to install Beta 4 onto the iphone before the final release?
