    Default downgrading back to 2.0.2 from 2.1??

    hi

    Does anyone know if it's possible to downgrade from 2,1 to 2.0.2

    My 3g was originally on 2.0 when I got it since then It has been
    Pawned to what it is now 2.1.

    When ever I have gone to a new firmware I have only used restore after creating a new image

    My modem baseband is 01.45.00

    So can I downgrade anyone know

    I'm pretty sure in DFU, that's possible. Give it a try.

    You may need to downgrade your iTunes to 7.7 first.

    I did it on my iPhone 1st gen and now using firmware 2.0.2 and jailbroken.
    If you use iTunes 8.0, DFU restore your iPhone to 2.0.2 and use QuickPwnRC3 to jailbreak again. Restoring a custom firmware will give you error code 1600.

    Probably because the original poster asked if it was possible to downgrade. Looked like he was saying, I did it on my first gen, so the second gen should be able to as well.
