I had installed beta 4 on my iPhone and due to some issues tried to recover back to the 1.1.4 pwnaged custom file. My phone will not come out of the Restore mode and is not recognized by iTunes. I have Googled till my fingers have bled and cannot find a way to undo this. Especially since no tool be it iTunes or any of the hack tools will even recognize the device.

I apologize if this has been covered here and I couldn't find it. If so, please feel free to let me know and delete this thread. Any assistance with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

To kick the iPhone out of recovery mode (1015) on the end and jailbreak,activate/unlock dont use Ziphone, see all the posts here. Use iLiberty for the job, thats safe.

I have always used ziphone and never had any problems like reported here

I used it for this process and it worked fine
