Cydia Issues

I pwned my iphone today.

I ran Cydia and now have the folloowing issues;

1. I tried to run the logo fix and cydia did not complete giving me a "Error Coundnt configure pre-depend dpkg for ncurses, probably a dependency cycle" error

2. At the Cydia home screen a red warning is now displayed saying that "You copy of Cydia does not know what version it is, itself, running.

Can anyone help me to fix these issues?

How did you jailbreak? with Pwnagetool?
What version of iPhone OS are you running?

Did you make sure to not install both Cydia and Icy? This is a known bad combination especially for older versions of Icy.

I can't get Cydia to run at all after using PwnageTool. I tried 3.1.2 and it just crashes. I did not install Icy.

What's more, I cannot connect to any network with my 3Gs anymore. Other than this, Pwnage ran fine. What did I miss and how can I fix this? I have the old 04.26.08 modem firmware so that can't be the problem.

When you say you can't connect to any network with your 3GS anymore do you mean wifi or mobile network?

If you don't need unlock, did you make sure to leave the activation option off?
