Hi. A have very strange problem - all of this stuff doesn't work form me =(

I have iPhone 3G, custom firmware 2.0.2 maked by WinPwn 2.5 beta 1 (activated, jailbroken). I have american phone locked to AT&T, so they unlocked by TornadoSIM.

My Sim-card is Russian Megafon. Now on the iPhone i see MegaFon RUS label on screen (and in Settings - General - About - Network). I can't find MCC/MNC by Field Test (in 2.0.2 i don't seen needed fileds, why?), but i think is 25002.

If i use tool, presented here, i use next configuration:

* Bundle Name - Megafon
* Carrier Name - Megafon
Account URL Title - Service Guide
Account URL - http://megafonmoscow.ru/serviceguidelogin/
Service Name 1 (e.g. Check Balance) - Check Balance
Service Code 1 (e.g. *100#) - *102#
* Supported SIM - 25002
* First character/digit of carrier logo name - M
Voicemail number - 0525
APN - internet
Username - gdata
Password - gdata
* Logo text - Megafon

I have downloaded standard carrier bundle, put it by WinSCP to the iPhone in "/System/Library/Carrier Bundles" folder, maked link 25002->Megafon_custom.bundle, restarted iPhone... and nothing changed o_0

Where i'm wrong?

I really dont know how those *sim solutions work. Just have been reading about. At least the custom carrier bundles seem not to work with it for you.
Your settings seem to be correct.
I guess it's due to the solutions try to trick the iPhone to make it work at all.

The carrier bundles are working on 2G and 3G iPhone, we have about 30-40 bundles created per day - and used.

I hate to appear naive, but what will this do for me, who am a T-Mobile USA subscriber? When I press the Voicemail button in Phone, I get T-Mobile's voicemail out of the box.

That's cause you are lucky. It does not work for many carriers, so using this is just to make sure you dont have to use the *5005#... hack later.

Some users dont get to their voicemail when tapping the button on the iPhone. The hac sets the number to the button. Way better doing this the Apple way via custom carrier bundle

In the US, Tmobile + iphone works very well and you don't have to create the bundle. You can tab on voicemail and it will work.
However, in other countries, that may not be the case.
The bundle creation is the proper way to setup therefore I do it anyway. I travel to other countries and that country may have different GSM providers. I created many bundles for my phone so when I arrive at my destination, I simply swap the SIM (and reboot) and everything will work correctly.

With Firmware 2.1 Apple changed (again) the format of the carrier bundles. Up to version 2.0.2 of the iphone firmware the carrier bundles contained (among others) a file called "version.plist". Since firmware 2.1 this no longer exists.
The new version of the file Info.plist contains a new field called "MinimumOSVersion", the value is set to "2.1". Some other values changed aswell e.g. "CFBundleVersion" from 2.2 to 2.6.

I have updated the service to support firmware 2.1 and of cause PwnageTool 2.1 aswell. The custom bundles support iPhone 2G & 3G at firmware 2.1 only.
