Can I jailbreak 3G after downgrading from iOS4???
First post, sorry, not seeing an answer to my specific question. I have a 3G I downgraded to 3.1.3 after having iOS4 on it. The modem firmware is listed as 05.13.04, which corresponds to iOS4. Can I still jailbreak this? Or am I looking at the wrong "firmware"?
Also, I'm now on iTunes 9.2, which Spirit says is currently beyond their jailbreaking version. Is this an issue for Pwnage?
As you can see I was not planning on jailbreaking, but I'm doing something for work for which I need to jailbreak my phone.
Thanks for your help.
I have just figured out that during installation If your iPhone goes in Recovery Mode loop, use this app RecBoot to get out of it. It is a brilliant application which will get you out of continuous never-ending loop.
Yep, after any successful downgrade, the phone will be in restore mode. You can use a number of utilities to kick it out, some of the easiest are the Firmware Umbrella (run it and click 'Kick Device out of Restore Mode'), and previously people used blackra1n or redsn0w, as both would do the same.
