The bootloader was successfully flashed
Now flashing baseband...
The bootloader and baseband successfully flashed...
Great work man...
Wk 38 iPhone, restored to 1.1.4 and then Zippy 2.5b (or some such nonsense)
Horrid battery life. Used Bootneuter and got a solid extra half day battery time!
Can I sync my iPhone to my Newton?
Does this source support Cydia?
this Bootneuter keeps getting mentioned in other forums as a way to re-lock the iphone back to factory settings... is this true? Is it necessary if I don't remember messing with my bootloader... it was a 1.1.0 OTB. I used a older method than ziphone or pwnage... i used apptap and anysim...
If you could help me that would be great! Do I need to do more than just restore my iphone with itunes?
I'm on firmware 1.1.2... never upgraded to 1.1.3
so all i have to do is use the itunes restore and take my phone into the apple store and they'll never know it was unlocked? that sounds too easy...
How do i "erase my baseband"?
It will tell you in relax34 case that your bootloader is 4.6 and your NOT neutered and it may say you are not unlocked or you are (I am not sure if BootNeuter detects the older unlock methods).
Eitherway just make sure that Neuter and Unlock and Fakeblank are all OFF and if they are not change them to OFF and the press flash.
Do NOT interupt it may take 5-10 minutes.
When it is done restore in itunes, set the phone up as new and activate with itunes and you are back to factory settings!
iPhone US 8GB
FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
iPhone UK 16GB
FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!
<----If I helped you out, rep points are always nice (thanks for that idea!)
This is spinstorm from Macrumors forum too huh... ha!
One last question... is flashing my phone with bootneuter dangerous? What are the risks and can my phone become completely unusable from this?
