Is Bootneuter autonomous?
Hey all, I have a silly question about bootneuter:
I used my friend's mac to Pwn my iPhone. The BL was 3.9FB from iLiberty+.
Now I'm back home and I want to reflash to 4.6 noFB.
So my question is: will bootneuter work in the "wild", with no connection to the original Pwning mac, or does it need to be connected to it?
I ask because BootNeuter seems to need a connection to the net (launches the wi-fi selection screen if you're not already connected), and I'm thinking it might be because it doesn't store the BLs on the phone... Maybe it's completely wrong, but I prefer making sure since flashing isn't something you should get wrong.
Also, if you're wondering, I did it at my friend's place because I have a windows machine. Yeah yeah, I know...

Bootneuter will work fine in the 'wild'. Just launch it from the springboard and flash. Make sure you have battery, you don't want it to cut off in the middle of a flash! The bootloaders are not downloaded from the wifi, they are stored on the .ipsw f/w file when you create the modified f/w file.

Turn off the "ask to join networks" in wi-fi settings and then the wi-fi won't pop up!
And as he said the phone doesn't need any connection to use bootneuter!
iPhone US 8GB
FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
iPhone UK 16GB
FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!

Worked for me while I had the phone docked (dangerous?).
Had to ignore the WiFi connect notices. Patience wins.
Can I sync my iPhone to my Newton?
