i pwnd my brothers ipod touch using the pwnage tool 1.1 for the mac. but now he wants to change his boot logo and i do not want to restore it and have to reinstall every thing so can i just open up the new version of winpwn and change the logos from there with the new feature that winpwn has of not having to restore to change the logos.
will it be a problem that i originally pwnd it from pwnage tool for the mac

i always thought to change the bootlogo, you need to restore the phone with the new IPSW

Latest version of WinPwn allows boot logos to be updated without a full restore.

What about pwnagetool, can i change boot logo without restore too?

not now but maybe they will add the feature later.
btw the way i did mine

1. jailbreak it with idemocracy 3.0/ iLiberty+
2. pwn it with winpwn
3. used the option to change the logos

no need to restore you firmware to get custom logos
