If I was on the dev team, the poetic time to release PwnageTool 4.1 would be during todays Mac Event, or shortly after.

This thread is getting off topic. The original question has been answered. There will be an unlock for baseband 5.14.02 on the 3G and 3GS soon after 4.2 is released. This has been confirmed by musclenerd.

Any baseband higher than 5.14.02 is not guaranteed to be supported for unlock at this point - so don't touch 4.2 betas and avoid updating to 4.2 until a clear answer is available on this.

Any other topic (including preventing baseband update) should be addressed in another thread.
