Maike, I had exactly the same problem with the Bootneuter sliders being greyed out? Did you manage to come to any solution?

I am having the exact same problem with bootneuter getting stuck AFTER detecting current settings, which in my case are slightly different(4.6/neuter/unlock = true. Fakeblank = false). I am trying to restore my 1st gen iphone to oob state to take it back for a small dead zone repair and have tried restoring to 2.2 factory settings through itunes, and then pwning it time and time again with different options in the custom ipsw build but I haven't been able to get bootneuter to allow me to change any settings. Everything else on the phone works just fine, except when I go into bootneuter and the phone freezes and then it restarts back to normal. I have not used any other tools on the phone besides pwnage hoping I could reverse the changes if something like this happened. If anyone has seen a post with an answer for this, or could shed some light on the issue please reply.

i had a similar problem here regarding bootneuter..

i did DFU and quickpwn to 2.2 afterthat.and the Bootneuter icons showed up on my dock.but,my wifi cant be detected..so,i reformat again.this time,no bootNeuter icon,but when i restarted my iphone the bootneuter came out and did things automatically.but i realized it showed 4.6/Neuter but off fakeBlank..since then,my iphone showed "no service" and no wi-fi at all..other than that was ok..

Recently, BootNeuter got updated, here you have important information about its usage.

Important Information:

==> Do not close BootNeuter while flashing. Sometimes it takes longer
than expected, but that is just fine. If you close it or crash it, you will have serious

==> If you forgot to set autolock to never, and iPhone locks, turn on the screen

==> If your iPhone is working fine, there is no need to use it.

check the Software Unlock forum for a thread about the 1011 error. There are
some iPhones that are bricked and there is no solution for them.

im a seriouse dummy in these stuff n i need help urgently, the bootneuter was loading n i cancelled it n now my phones bricked, cant make calls or recieve, no wifi or anything.
it give me this message, "Can't make or recieve called, Please re-install".
What should i do, i cant live without my iPohone.

Bootneuter wont load it says determining current settings for a long time then it goes to to a new box saying can not make or receive calls to restore i dont know what to restore i cant unlock the phone until thats done
can someone help me PLEASE!!!!

i know its much to ask, but could you detail the steps you took "to hell and back" as you say ? alot of people here seem to have gone that route but nobody really has said how to recover even just to 1.1.4 in a step by step manner.

would really appreciate it!
