you need to just restore with itunes and if it was sold factory unlocked, then it will still be unlocked.

I hope that answers your question.
    Peace,

    Default What up here?

Sorry bambo clan, but wtf do you want?

I know it's unfair to just grab you out of the growing numer of users here thinking we (mods, supporters other users) do have a cristal ball and years of time to find out what your problem is.

Have you ever read your own two posts in this thread and the title?

    3g factory setting.

Sorry to say so, that sounds like a brain fart, not a post asking for help. Please: before starting a thread or posting: first switch on your brain then start to type!

It is impossible from this nonsense to find help or a solution for you.

Start with a thread title that does summarize your problem (I still dont get it, sorry). Doing so, users will open and check the thread. What does "3g factory setting" mean?????

In the post, give some history:
I got it, it is a 3G iPhoene, sure.
Is it on a legal contract or not, is it international unlocked?
BTW: The color "white" you mentioned here does not really help.
Did it work before, is it activated with a legal carrier?
    Which firmware is it running?
Describe then what you did to the iPhoene, i still don't get this.

Complete sentences help, paragraphs aswell. We are from numerous different countries here, so no slang bulls...t if you want all users be able to help.

Sorry this one hits you here, but speaking as a user here, not as a mod: I am sick of this, really sick! All information is free here, so is the help. Users, Supporters, Mods all have a real life, a job. It is just our spare time, we all help for free!

Damn: I am just asking for YOUR time aswell when you are here to get help. Start thinking and summarize your problem so everyone can be able to read and hopefully help you.

Dont take this personal, there are more users tapping on my toes. On the other hand: The majority is just great and I am glad if I can help out.

So - if you want my help - post your problem a propper way, otherwise I'll be out of this thread!
Read the stickies and search the forum before posting!

I am in absolute agreement with Volkspost here.

In the past few days, I was dealing with the same situation because I wanted to help. However, the user is not listening. The user's post was terse and very hard to understand. He used short hand writing, improper paragraph & sentence. The user spammed the forum with useless posts and hijacked other people's thread.

My suggestion is if you want help, you have to be able to articulate your problem. Help us understand your problem before we can help you.

Default Does resetting the phone will unlock it back

    i have a working 16G iphone 2.1 unlocked.
yesterday when i sync my phone all the songs and movies in the ipod tab gone.
when i tried to sync it back to itunes, it says
ituunes cannot read the contents of the iphone. go to the summary tab in iphone preferences and click restore to restore this iphone back to factory settings.

i could restore this through itunes as it gave me this option, but, will this lock back my iphone?
how do i do a factry restore just on the iphone without using i tunes, if this is done, will my phone still be locked?

    appreciate your kind assistance.
