I can't even get it back into a totally unlocked state to try a O2 sim card to test the WiFi.

PS I had a perfectly working 2G before the touch screen died, this is a brand new replacement and no, its not the WiFi networks fault.

Guide on what I should do? Loads of threads about going back to 1.1.4 and downgrading basebands and the like but it can't be that bigger issue FFS.
