[2G 1.1.3] Accidentally upgrade to 2.2 via iTunes
hi there,
I'm a bit confuse after going after posts in the forum. First, some thread claimed that if i've UNLOCKED 2G:iphone: upgrade to 2.2 via iTunes is fine. Phone will still be unlocked but i'll lose jailbrake. Sadly, my friend phone is not like that. Phone is lock and no signal from carrier after upgrade via iTunes
I own a jailbroken 3G phone and i knew that upgrade via iTunes = REALLY BAD.
Is there any way to help him ?
Can i just simply use pwnage just like what i did to my 3G ?( undergoes 2g unlock process of course)
thx in advance,
ps. sorry if my english is so bad

Yes, no problem with a 2G iPhone. Check this and then go ahead: How to Select an iPhone Unlock/Jailbreak Tutorial

You can help your friend to jailbreak and unlock his iPhone again using QuickPwn 2.2..
Cheers...
