Default [2.0][PwnageTool] issues after update for 1st-gen iphones

How is your iPhone working? Any problems?

    1. I've seen a kernel panic on the iPhone already
    2. Booting from firmware 2.0 takes easily twice as long as from 1.1.4
    3. iTunes isn't properly keeping track of the apps on the iPhone when I download directly to the iPhone from the iTunes store.

Well I panicked for about 10 minutes, I chose to update baseband and when my iphone booted it said it would take 2min to flash but I waited 15mins while biting my nails anxiously.

I upgraded to 2.0 using pwnage 2.0 from a 1.1.4 previously pwned phone. The screen will now randomly go blank. When it does this, the home button does nothing. Pressing the sleep/wake button results in the same behaviour as if the phone was currently on (i.e., it makes the locking sound and then I can press the home button and use my phone as normal again).

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Just upgraded to 2.0 using TwnageTool 2.0 from the 1st-gen iPhone (out of box 1.1.4 & then u/j/a using iLibertyX). After upgrading, I noticed the following:

    1. The caller ID issue is still there. My friend's iPhone 3G works perfectly ok, given we store the numbers in exactly the same format, i.e. "+852 xxxx xxxx".

    2. The Hide Caller ID function under the Phone setting becomes unavailable, i.e. it's grey out. It used to allow on/off under 1.1.4.

    3. I've been experiencing EXTENSIVE iTunes backup. I've performed iTunes sync for about 5 times since upgraded, and the iTunes has done an EXTENSIVE backup of my iPhone for 2 times, which took about 10 mins for the 1st time and then over half and hour for the 2nd.

Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance.

    Gaz

I tried to sync again just now. I've done absolutely nothing since the last backup last night. And iTunes started backing up again. Given the progress of the status bar, it seems like another LENGTHY one. Had no choice but quitted it.

    Really need help urgently!!!

    Most appreciated.

    Gaz
