    Default [2.0.1] pwn'ed 2G stuck in Recovery

    Hi all,

i was so stupid to connect my 2.0.1 2G iPhone with iFuntastic, just to play around with email signatures. After seeing there is a newer Version (r002) of iFuntastic I started this one and it was moaning that there is no connect to the Phone possible. I tryied the repair options and used the "restart iPhone/exit recovery" funtion.

now the Phone is stuck in Recovery Mode, and I do not see any way to kick it out there... I am on Leopard 10.5.4 running iTunes 7.7.1 ... Is there any way to manually end the recovery mode?

I could reboot the phone (lock+home) or even go into DFU, but it will always end up in Recovery after that, ... restoring an ipsw would result in a reinstallation orgie, which is possible but a pita.

Wasn't there a way to kick the ipHone out of Recov Mode via iPHUC ?

    Any help appreciated!

    Cheers,
    J*

i've had a similar situation a few days ago. After trying lots of solutions I ended restring back to the custom firmware...
All the usual tricks like shutting down with reboot and Terminal tricks did not work.

Oh geez, if this comes from someone like you, I am sure there is no way :-) well, then I will reinstall with a custom ipsw and then play the Cydia Game again...

    Thanks for the quick reply,

    J*
