[1.1.4 OTB] UK - Pwnage fail...
Got a brand new 1.1.4 OTB phone this morning (O2 here are knocking them out at £169 and I couldn't resist getting a second phone to mess about with).
First time I tried to Pwn (1.1) the phone, there was an error message on the phone itself that said something to do with not being able to access/flash NOR.
So I did a "proper" restore in iTunes (even though it was already 1.1.4).
Re-ran Pwn and this time saw it do the NOR stuff and it rebooted.
Created my custom IPSW
+ Unlock baseband
+ Activate
+ Baseband update & neuter
+ Auto delete BootNeuter
Used this to restore the phone but when BootNeuter runs I get an error "could not flash error 2" and the phone reboots. It's jailbroken but not unlocked/activated (my SIM card doesn't work) and also BootNeuter has not been removed.
Tried it a couple of times with the same result every time. I'm not new to unlocking etc. and I've used Pwnage to unlock my other phone OK (US phone, 3.9 bootloader, 1.1.4)
Can someone help? Am I Pwning the phone incorrectly?
(Added : OTB it comes with 04.04.05G modem, don't know if that's relevant...)

are you using the original 1.1.4 restore.ispw?
if so, when you are you uploading the correct basebands for 3.9 and 4.6?

Yes, original (still zipped) 1.1.4 IPSW and original 3.9 & 4.6 basebands. Though now you've got me paranoid so I'll check later

Double checked all files and tried again. Did "proper" restore via iTunes first and then tried to re-Pwn.
Exactly the same problem. When BootNeuter runs it come up with the same "Error 2".
Interestingly, if I try to manually run the installed BootNeuter app, I get a different error "must be run as UID 0" and it quits.
Do I need to downgrade the baseband to 3.9? I didn't think it was necessary but I can't think of anything else to try....

Does anyone have any ideas?

I ran iNdependence to see if it chucked out any information that might be relevant.
It threw up a warning about Mobile Devices Framework not being activated and suggested reinstalling iTunes. It also said that if iPhone SDK was installed (it is) that i'd have to delete the framework.
I'm now at that stage and have ran iNdependence again, this time no error. It shows
Firmware 1.1.4, activated, AFC, jailbroken
Which ties in with what I'm seeing on the phone itself - everything working except my SIM card (which works in my other iPhone BTW).
Going to try the whole process again now.

I think this is telling you that it needs to be run with root privlages.

I figured that too but it's not something you have any control over via Pwnage so it's clearly something has gone wrong in the Pwnage process, somehow.

OK, this time the bootloader was flashed OK (in BootNeuter) but it failed on flashing the baseband with "Error -32512".
Phone rebooted and now I've got a really bad error;
"Repair Needed. iPhone cannot make or receive calls."
