Carrier Problem after upgrade 3GS to 3.1
Hello
I jailbreak my new 3GS 3.0 4 months ago when it first launched with purplera1n. There were no problem with my 3.0. Then I created a custom firmware for 3.1 using my MBP. I restored it normally (like i've done dozen of times before). Everything was working after installation except carrier. My phone cannot see my carrier and GPS so i cannot able to do any kind of call or sms. It's not the problem of not showing operator name. The carrier menu does not showed up on the setting neither.
Here what I've do to fix this;
- Created different size of firmware (from 600 mb up to 1 gb)
- Used custom firmware from my friends which they did this successfuly
- Re-install using ATT sim card
None of the things worked. It can easily updated but no carrier.
I cannot restore back to 3.0, due to apple sign process and my id was not saved on saurik servers
I've search for 1 day on google but there were no cases like mine. I will be glad if you able to help me.
Thanks

When making the custom firmware for 3.1 did you say yes to the question about "Do you have an iPhone contract that would activate normally through iTunes"? If you are a legitimate AT&T customer then you should say yes to this question and perform the restore with the AT&T SIM inserted in your phone.
