3GS JB on Purplera1n - If I restore the phone using Itunes, will I lose AT&T service?
Just a hypothetical-
I have a jailbroken 3GS using purplera1n on a valid AT&T contract. If i wanted to get rid of everything and restore my phone back to stock because of decreased battery life, is there a chance that my service from AT&T could be interrupted in the process?
Thanks and any discussion on this topic would be helpful

I have a PurpleRa1n RC2 phone, no decreased battery life. Whatever is causing the decreased life, it isn't the jailbreak. It is some application you are installing from Cydia. I have 109 installed packages in Cydia.
All you need to do is restore the phone, any reason why you think you will have trouble being a legit at&t phone?

Yes, you will have an interruption in service if you decide to go down the whole "restore your phone" route.
It will last approximately 8 minutes.
