    Default logic board serial number

    Where is it stored?
    How does one change it?
    Apple is very keen on protecting this info as it could potentially interfere with their guarantee system, for example one user without a guarantee could use the serial number of a friend's mac and have it repaired for free!

    PPC macs you can do this with software, Intel macs can't be changed.
