pay and go help

HI I am intending to wait till the software unlock comes along but I did try an i-samrt sim to see if this would let my new 3g phoe work. This it did for 3 weeks then stopped. i got another but same. My problem is that when I tried my o2 sim back in the phone it does not show carrier logo nor the 4 bars(there is like 4 small dashes). I am unable to make a call as you would expect but in setting it shows the iccid (would this be the o2 sim card installed or would that come from the jailbreak. To me it looks like the phone sees the sim but will not work.

Is it that once jailbroken pay & go will not work in phone?
also i only registered the phone via itunes..does that register the sim to the phone?

hi i have resolves the intial part re 02 sim...i restored the phone and put in the o2 sim and im now back up and running... i would however like to jailbreak the phone...my question is..if i jailbreak it...will it still allow my o2 pay as you go sim to work in it...thanks in advance..BBB

If you jailbroke with a non 'official SIM (O2 in the UK, AT&T in the USA) then winpwn would activate for you and an official SIM will not work. If you restore and activate with an official SIM then you can jailbreak without a problem.
