[iPhone 3G]jailbreaking 2.1 on winpwn.
I'm not sure if this has been posted so if so, can you give me the link to this one.
So right now my iphone 3G is at 2.1 and the winpwn 2.5 beta doesn't seem to have 2.1 in there. So does that mean i can't use winpwn to jailbreak my iphone 3G? Do i have to use quickpwn? i would prefer winpwn.
The reason is because today i received my sim adapor (i-smartphone sim adaptor), yes it's the original black. And i have received the instructions as well. I know i can use this sim adaptor without having to jail break it but the only thing I can't do is to sync it with itunes (that is if i have the sim adaptor in there). If i don't have the sim adaptor and going back to At&t it will work. But I just want to know if jailbreaking is required. Which I don't think it is required for the sim unlock to work cuz i know that you can still sim unlock the iphone 3G without jailbreaking.
Plus i'm kinda afraid of jailbreaking it becuase of my past experience of trying to downgrade a PSP and ended up bricking it.
So any answers or help or tips would be great. thanks.
