Ok I have a 16 GB 3g iphone. I jailbroke my iphone with cydia and installer. i do not have a 3g data plan. everywhere i go, i have wifi.. school, work, home.

the problem im having is that i dont have the 3g icon on the top left, and i barely get the edge icon. maybe a couple times a month.

my internet(wifi), sms and phone work fine. but for the settings of swirlymms i can not use it because i need atleast a edge connection.

ive tried messing with boss prefs and the network connections but nothing happens. what can i do?

Doesn't sound like your having a problem directly related to your iPhone. Sounds like you need to call at&t and chew their asses out Do remember that 3g is not as big as everyone would like to think it is sometimes. Unless you live in the heart of a really major city where 3g is available, you probably aren't gonna get very good service.
