Yes you can.. the process is not very complex.
I recommend that you start fresh (don't try and keep any existing data on the iPhone) - but it is also possible to migrate your existing data during the upgrade.
The simplest way:
Pwnagetool 3.1.3 custom IPSW. With bootneuter unlock option turned on when making the custom IPSW.Please read the stickies & search forum before posting!
