Pros and Cons of Hackintosh for App Development
Hello there! I am looking into creating apps for Apple's iPhone and iPad, but I do not currently own a Mac. I would like to go the official route with app development, but we already have amazing hardware ready to go and are a little stretched on costs, so a hackintosh would be the most efficient use of our current resources. This would be a computer for development purposes only, and would only be used to develop apps. One of the pros of going hackintosh is, of course, that it's cheaper, and our current PC hardware will have much better RAM and hard drive space than any Mac we could currently afford. However, I've heard of a few cons on other sites, so I wanted to see what actual hackintosh fans had to say about them.
Cons I've Heard About:
1. The iOS SDK is constantly updating and requires the latest OS X update, as well. I've heard it can be difficult to keep the OS X up-to-date on a hackintosh, which could render us unable to develop/publish apps at any given time.
2. Have heard about problems with hackintoshes with regard to USB, LAN (or other networking capabilities), and audio.
3. Several mentions of hackintoshes "boot cycling" or having similar startup issues.
4. Some people have said that "signing" your apps (for legal publication so that you may profit from them) is made infinitely more difficult if you use a hackintosh rather than an Apple-approved Mac.
So, to actual hackintosh users, I ask the following questions: How valid are the above claims? Are there further cons/pros to using a hackintosh for app development that I have not heard of yet? Would you recommend a hackintosh for this particular use or is it better to buy a Mac, even if it means sacrificing some performance in the area of RAM or hard drive space?
Thank you for reading!

I use a hackint0sh and it works nicely. No cons here, but I run a vanilla install.
