well i've been looking on this site for the past day for a driver for the Atheros AR9285 WiFi for EEE PC 1005HAB and from what i've seen u guys r no HELP to me and all the other ppl with the same prob....

Maybe cause Atheros cards are shit and there is simply no driver for some chipsets?

Not to criticize, but you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. Beyond that, you waited less than a day from your original post before posting to criticize the entire board for not dropping what we were doing to specifically care about your problem. You have truly unrealistic expectations about what responsibility we have to you and you overestimate how much any of us actually care about your specific issue.

We do our very best to address every post that comes through this board, but there are a limited number of moderators and a community of people who don't know what's going on that grows every day, vs. the community of people who are knowledgable and dedicated to it which seems to be shrinking all the time. Nothing makes your problem more important than any of theirs, and regardless of whether or not your specific issue has been resolved, simply looking at the board shows that the moderators here solve many people's problems on a daily basis.

Being a complete jerk about not getting an answer in less than 24 hours just makes sure no one wants to help you on this issue or in the future. Kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Last but not least, I think you mean 'kext'.

im srry. but i've seen alot of posts on this site that were made 2 mounths ago and still nothing. so ya, and i do mean kext. well im off to a better site that can help me. im not going to get any from here
