Hi i have a Lacie External Hard Drive and the disk was not showing in My Computer. So i went to manage and i found the disk. So i right clicked on it and pressed format because i thought it should work for the one of the not showing partions of my disk. After doing that, my disk is not showing anywhere and can't find it! Please help me!

Windows or Mac?
If Windows, plug it in, and go to Device Manager. If you see it under USB devices like USB MASS STORAGE or something like that, right click on it and go "Uninstall"... Then plug it in again...

I put it in a different port and it worked.

i usually checking the disk with hdd regenerator to check for bad sector etc.

I'm having same problem that before. I've tried to check it in BIOS and it's there' connected, what I've did is to load the default configuration in BIOS. then when I restart my computer now it's there. It's working.
