    Default Memories of childhood

Do you still remember the first video game from your childhood? I have been playing lots of games with my Tablet PC and smart phone recently and that has got my memories stirring. Id like to share some of those memories with all of you guys.
First console that I ever got : Atari 2600

I played such classic games like Pone, Combat, Asteroids and Yars Revenge.

    That would be Pitfall.

I had similar experiences-- my first computer was a Commodore 64, and I remember playing some of the cartridge based games like Super Zaxxon, and some of the disk or tape games like Impossible Mission or Cave of the Word Wizard.

Past that, we did end up with the Atari 2600 -- my favorite addon was the 'Arcadia Supercharger', that allowed you to play certain games that were recorded on Audio Tapes -- some of the best that I remember were 'Escape from the Mindmaster' and 'Dragonstomper' -- but my all-time favorite 2600 game had to be the classic, 'Adventure'.

After that, we ended up getting the PC AT and then XT, and I started messing around with DOS, etc. Soon after I fell in with the Sierra adventure games and then the Lucasarts point and click and Sierra point and click games (King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Gold Rush, etc. from Sierra, Loom, Day of the Tentacle, Maniac Mansion, Indiana Jones, etc. from Lucasarts) which pretty much killed my free time at that point.

Ended up with an NES, then Sega Genesis (the SNES didn't play NES games, that was the rationale I got when I asked for an SNES and got a Genesis. Glad about it now though, even if the SNES was the better console, I got exposed to a bunch of good games on the Genesis I never would have played otherwise).

Soon after that, the BBS days started, then Prodigy came out, then Netcom and AOL, and before you know it -- we're back to the present.
