IRC Hacking and Moffspeak - Discussion
Please discuss it here.
What I'd like to hear is exactly what the so called 'problems' or perceptions you have of the network actually are. Yes, you.

He stole/got the keys from another oper (as he keeps telling us). Can this be considered a direct attack against the IRC and its owners? And is it true that any type of code was taken forcefully from the owners/operators of the IRC?
I'm just finding this "hacking" issue quite incredulous. And if it's true that anything was stolen, I'd consider it the worst lamer-ing ever done so far.
Not to ignite anything, but just wanting some clarification. Too much drama again.

Let me be clear. Kiko has no oper position on the network.
It is true that code was stolen, although we are unable to speculate as to what or to what extent (I am not privy to the workings of the other IRC network).
I think it was a direct attack against the owners and operators of the IRC network, and a action which shouldn't be taken lightly.

moofspeak irc network= lamers and children's playground

What i want to know is....everything was pretty damn fine for a few weeks. But then Kiko et al come and "play around" and it reignites tensions. How about the thread about semthex's retirement on IM that quickly turned into kiko being a dumb ass and hijacking the thread. What more does the idiot kid have to do for the people in power to take some action? KIKO = LAMER and INSTIGATOR

I am also happy to say that cmoski has helped me get un glined from moofspeak. It was a very cooperative and helpful talk, nothing "mean".

Peoples can make mistakes.... but...making them one by one to build own road to hell...it's very stupid.

I closed your first thread b/c in my opinion as administrator I felt like I should. This one seems less flamebaitish so I allowed it to stay.( tho you did try to bait me by telling me what I should do)
As for my opinion on this ... I don't think it makes any difference. No one should look at moofspeak about the server attack/stealing of the patcher. In my opinion doing so will only keep the moofspeak name on your fingertips and minds(right where they want it to be), even if it is because your pissed. Bad news and bad publicity is better then none heh? Also it will keep moffspeaks staff coming here and starting these types of topics to keep the cycle going.I hope they can move on without us, like we have without them.
So take a second to be totally honest with yourself and ask yourself this question. Do you really care this much as to keep going after each other ? my suggestion, get over it. I have.
Please everyone keep this civil.
P.S: I want to wish Moofspeak and it's staff all the success in their future endeavors. Good luck guys.
