That is the question...

I like Mac's for their sleek designs, and awesomeness.

But I don't really feel like spending that much for something I can buy for half the price on a better platform.

Notebooks are running i7's and the Macbook Pro's are still on Core2Duo (I know it will change, but at the moment, thats what they are). I can get the same memory, better processor, and maybe some discounts here and there.

The only draw back it seems would be drivers.

I am more so just trying to figure out if the price is worth it. The other way is I look at a used Macbook Pro from this years current model.

Suggestions?
