We just wanted to inform our fellow readers that the hyped venezuelan 3G unlock is a bad joke, fake, troll attemp (or what your like to call it), don’t use any of the files in the archive, it might even contain malicious code.
Why it’s a bad fake?
The only way to break 3G is find a exploit which enables us to be able to write to baseband and alter it towards a unlock.
There was said you can install unlock via bootneuter. Bootneuter is designed for 2G baseband and it’s bootloader, it’s technical impossible to have it work on 3G. XGold != SGold2. Altering the baseband on 3G via bb bootloader (like our fellow neuter does) is not possible on a XGold chipset enabled phone like the 3G. They have a very secure and unbreakable way of updating, not even flashing routines are included within the baseband for security reasons.
Other than that, the included ipsw (made with pwnage) is even for a 2G phone, not a 3G .. complete techincal understandment fail.
That blog, which is spreading this news, is talking complete bullshit. Still we have no clue what the sense of this fake action is, other than trolling the hoping iphone community, but it might be even a bad attemp to spread malicious altered files. A investigation of this pile of crap for signs of evilness is still undergoing.
What this set of files is or should be, noone knows, but it is for sure no unlock. If you are really going to force stuff this in your 3G on some stange way (not thinkign you will ever suceed) you might be sitting there with a really fucked up device in the end. Please be cautionous with handeling these files, you have been warned.
Update: Seems The guy who made this fake is upset upon the early unmasing and likes to spam our comments with serval diffrent names in spanish and translate-english. Please, at least change your IP before using other nicknames if trying to fool peple on a hacking board. If you try to play the Z game for the donation $$…YOU FAILED, hey he at least had something working, even if it was stolen. Please keep this in mind John, Alfonzo, Michael or what your name really is.

Que?! como van a decir algo así… Puede que el Paquete no este bien formado y que algunos archivos no funcionen como deban pero el esfuerzo que hizo este chico no tiene limites, incluso pidio ayuda al Dev Team y los muy majos se la negaron y ahora además quieren echarle mierda encima! K onda! al Dev Team todo lo que les duele es que se les haya ido adelante el Gabox porque ellos se creia los mas Hackers eh… Chingados Gringos de su madre, k onda! Les cuento que a mi si me funciono! como dice el comentario de rriba solo tube que cambiar el custom firmware por el de 3G y añadir los archivos de Gabriel Paderni, consegui el codigo de operador de TELCEL y mi 3G esta libre del todo!
Ha ver si investigan mejor antes de postear algo como esto, si el Dev Team es tan bueno y sabe como es q se puede liberar el 3G x k no lo han hecho?! Seguro en pocos dias sacan su “Propia Liberacion” y es una modificación del Paquete de Gabriel Paderni.

Si se sabe que fue preparado con el Pwn Tool el mismo Gabo lo dice en su manual y en sus Post en Maczalandia. Lo unico que el chavo queria era facilitar la liberación del 2G en un solo paso usando ese Custom Firmware y a su vez ofrecer el debloqueo del 3G pero le dio fallas ese Firmware, k hay de malo si el mismo chavo indica con toda claridad q su paquete es para 2G/3G ademas q dice MUY CLARAMENTE: HAY ERRORES, EL PAQUETE ESTA INCOMPLETO, HAY MUCHAS FALLAS, AYUDENME. En vez de criticar por que no ayudan por el bien de la comunidad.

I’ve tried to put a comment on theis forum telling that it cannot work (using bootneutrer on 3G), and they deleted it. So simply, they are lying.

First of all I did not understand a single thing what Alfonzo or Michael said.. I guess first to explain or debat on this topic he or she needs to learn on english..
Next thing is.. I would duely trust dev team, because I want a safe and secure hack than scrambling my iphone with malicious files..

Oh and I forgot, the previous comments were not made by me. I ask more respect, plus the release of 3G package has already been tested by many people and it works very well, not all the iPhones but in many.
Besides the main purpose of the package is to make the release of 3G and EDGE more comfortable, only to be inserted hacked firmware with iTunes and ready.
