Hi.
My friend decided that he is ready for fixing my 3G and returning its' calls.
so, he took my iPhone 3g that wasn't really a phone (because it had upgraded to 4.1) and downloaded limera1n- and since than- my iPhone is stuck in dfu\recovery.
Unfortunately, My friend skip on the backup stage.
I really don't want to loose all of my data. Can someone help me?
Do you know any software that takes the iphone out from Dfu\recovery? or some way to back up the device while it is in this mode?

I managed to get out of recovery mode by myself

if its stuck in dfu mode you can try tinyumberella to kick out of dfu/recovery mode

I'm glad you fixed this in the end. A quick search would have answered this for you (it's a question asked nearly once a day here)

To be clear DFU and recovery are two very different modes. What works for exiting recovery does not always also work for exiting DFU

TinyUmbrella works best for exiting recovery mode after downgrading or upgrading your OS when the baseband downgrade/upgrade failed. It does no harm to try TinyUmbrella, but it definitely is not the solution for DFU mode.
