simply put dont use limera1n use pwnage tool or redsn0w since those are still compatible to the 3g-3gs models or update to 4.2 then use tethered jailbreak those works likewise unless you got your phone to back up its SHSH to 4.1 then find a 4.1 firmware and use limera1n to jailbreak your phone
