    Default Ram and OSX 32-bit?

    Hi guys.
Just woundering. How much is max ram when running Snow Leopard in 32 bit mode?
It says that i have 6gb installed. Isnt it like in windows. Max 4gb?
Also when i look at my ram in OSX it says its DDR2 but its DDR3.
    Something that matters?

Theoretically for SL in 32 bit mode, or any 32 bit OS, the RAM limit is 4GB even if it says more, and the limit of storage capacity is 2 TB. It just can't count pass that

As for your RAM, SL would route it to the closest Mac model per your device id file.
