Realtek 8139 / VIA Rhine II works fine, then don't
Hello there everyone. Strange stuff goin' on in here.
I have both VIA Rhine II Ethernet (Integrated) and Realtek 8139 Ethernet (PCI) cards installed on my Hackintosh. They both work great (I use them both separately, not at the same time), but they both have some weird issue: When the network traffic is high (like, transfering a 1GB file through LAN, or just downloading something at 120 kbps), it just stops working and the only way I can get them to work is by restarting the computer.
Kext Unload / Load
Deactivating / Reactivating services (which generates a private IP like 168)
Changing to PCGenRTL8139Kext 1.20 (which verbose mode tells me that my old driver and this oneīs the same)
Changed both cards
Activating / Deactivating LAN ROM
Setting up manually the IP address
Setting up DHCP
It's weird - I canīt believe it happens with two different cards with two different kexts. I've searched the forums, and in Google, and I can't find a solution.
