I have a 1gb gddr3 gts 250. running SL 10.6.3. I already tried GFX strings, didn't work. Tried a kext from kexts.com but it caused my install to break. Computer would not boot. HELP PLEASE! I already have a fresh install of SL, but my boot.list is modified no backup. but it still works.

What bootloader did you used to install Snow Leopard? To my knowledge the card work doing some editing in your dsdt.aml without any injector.

For your video graphic card Try "NVinstaller_v.52.pkg".

    Download it here:

    NVinstaller_v.52.pkg

I hope this can help you!

No. Said file extension cannot be used? Also, which options do I select during install? I tried Vanilla kernel and then I tried 768mb. But I have a 1GB card. Or could it be because my boot.plist is modified?

Yeah, maybe the modified plist had to do with it..

Well, since you're not able to use the package, you may have to use the singles kext. Try these one and if doesn't work delete it before try a new one. Also make sure that any other graphic kext you had installed previously are delete. Use kextkelper to install them.

Thanks for advice. I'll make sure not to upgrade. 10.6.3 is fine for me.
