Default please help with slow network card issue

    hi all,

first, thanks for all the info here. After a day or so of messing around i have a near fully functional snow leopard install on a dell inspirion 530.

The main problem i have is the network/lan is very slow.Download speeds of 100k! on a 4meg connection.

I have used BB speed checker simulatanesly on this machine and another laptop and the laptop shows a decent speed.
Also the older leopard install i have on the same machine is fine.

Looks like a driver issue on the new snow leopard install??

I am using a bog standard ethernet card ,which as i said ,worked fine before.

system profiler shows the following for the network details

    thanks
