Hey All,

I have two drive dual boot hackintosh with Kalyway 10.5.2 on one drive and 10.6.0 (myHack/USB retail) on the other. Kalyway works perfectly but I am having Ethernet problems on SnowLeopard.

I bought a Netgear GA311 as it was specifically recommended for working OOB on leopard/snow leopard. It works fine in Leopard (DHCP, etc), but in Snow Leopard it is recognized,but it will not get a DHCP address. I have tried assigning a manual IP from Network settings as well as from the Terminal with both ifconfig/route and ipconfig. It will come up and let me ping it self but nothing else on my network...like the router.

Has anyone had any luck with this card Netgear GA311 on 10.6.0?

Yes GA311 works with Snow Leopard 10.6.6!
But it must show up as en0 en NOT en1. Otherwise it will not work!
And delete all network prefs in "System Preferences ->Network" (left column) and make new ones.

Type in terminal: ifconfig
