Does anyone has succeeded to work with the Motu 828 mk2 firewire sound card? It worked but it is very unstable. Often, the audio softwares can't send sound to the card and I have to reboot to keep working. (the card looks ok) It's the same on many softwares.

I use 10.6.2 and the latest drivers from MOTU. I have a HP pavillon elite quad, 8 gig, with the firewire 400 port on the motherboard.
