Mac Pro 8 Core 2,1 Late 2007 64bit efi
New to this so bear with/slap me if I ask something stupid!
I've got a Mac Pro 8 Core 2,1 Late 2007. It has EFI32. How can I change to EFI64? I'll need to for the future when 10.8 is released cause that defo won't work on this machine.
I've read a few pages:
Booting the 64-bit kernel on the 2006/2007 Mac Pro
Change 32-Bit EFI to 64-Bit EFI on 1,1 and 2,1
Firmware hack can transform a 2009 Mac Pro into a 12-core monster
I'm not quite sure, how to, or the best way to do it! Any guidance would be appreciated apple are complete c**ts when it comes to this :-p
Cheers,
Chris
