Linksys Wmp54gs v1.1 Not Working
so here's the scoop.
i installed iatkos s3 v2 snow leopard 10.6.3 distro (with the broadcom wireless drivers checked under installation customisation), and everything works perfectly except for my linksys wmp54gs v1.1 wireless pci card.
the pci card has a Broadcom 4318 chipset and from what i've been reading, this is supposed to work 100% out of the box. but no matter what i do, Airport does not detect it.
i've already tried the method posted [here] with the shell command, and no luck :/
as shown in the screenshot below, system profiler shows the wireless pci-card as pci14e4,4318 which is the device id. the type of pci card is shown as "other network controller" and the drivers are apparently not installed.

Dont Check The Broadcom Driver,u shouldnt have to check any drivers for the card
