Hi all,

***I'd like to preface this post by saying I am a total OS X newbie. I have installed Snow Leopard on my Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 (rev. 1.0) by following the info provided over at the tonymacx86 website (iboot, multibeast, etc).***

I have semi-working ALC883 audio that I'm tired of fiddling with. I have tried more drivers for the audio device that I can count but have not found a driver that eliminates the hissing and can get the digital output working reliably.

Anyway, I completely forgot that I had a M-Audio Delta 2496 sitting in an "old parts" box!

Before I install the M-Audio card, I would like to completely clean out/remove the ALC883 driver(s) I've been messing with before I disable the device in the bios.

How can I do this?
