I'm rather new to the project. I had to instruct myself installing a Hackintosh after the vendor ran of and left me with a non-working Hackintosh.

I managed to install SL 10.6.0 and got everything up and working apart from the Wifi.

The card used is a TP-Link WN851N.

I found some patched kexts for the Atheros chip that it uses, but the card keeps causing KP's. I read somewhere that its the i7 920 processor that is responsible for the incompatibilty?

Could anyone assist me?
